Almost half of all gamers are women, yet 77% of game developers are men. This imbalance has led to a female gaming experience and culture marked by exclusion, misogyny and harmful portrayals.

With Girls Who Code Girls, we created the first experience that lets girls code fully licensable gaming characters
that look just like them, giving them the power to literally change the game and see themselves in an industry that barely sees them at all.
